So...
Mine is of a half dozen or so made that year in .22LR, the remaining bazillion produced in 1920 were all .22 Short.
Feed it CCI Standard Velocity and it will say “thank you daddy”.
I have about a half-dozen different apertures for it now, but I had a fellow machine an adapter so I can screw in a metric Anschutz diopter. It saves having to clip on the Gehmann, but it protrudes to the rear more than I like.
A couple of my younger (much) buddies were giving me grief for shooting a rifle that is 103 years old, until I reminded them it was only 35 years old when I was born. Shut them up fast, lol!
