I'm not into shooting cheap bulk pack .22, suppressed or not. Blazer is the only stuff of that sort I've ever found consistently good, and w/o mail order, it's unavailable around here.

One, however, to completely avoid is the stuff distributed by hometown based Bass Pro, and their Cabela's subdivision. It's badged as "Herter's" and the stuff I shot was US made. Headstamp was "22".

Previously the worst .22 I'd shot was some Soviet steel cased std vel sold as "Junior". The 1990s Junior was dirty, and it wouldn't reliably extract from anything except a semiauto. It was dirty, the lube was heavy, and it smoked like a 2 stroke Detroit. But it all went off 100%, accuracy was surprisingly decent in my Marlin faux M1 carbine (987?). It fed reliably.

The Herter's gave me a solid 4% failure to ignite. Failures to feed were more numerous than that in my S&W SW22 Victory. It was dirty. And for whatever reason, it spit back in my face nigh on to 100% of the time, unsupressed. Avoid avoid avoid!!
