Concealed Carry......

Long before there was any legal CCW I limited my carry but always kept a loaded 1911 45 acp under the seat, even my work truck. If I felt leery about an area I needed to go to I would pull the 45 and tuck it in my belt or strap on a holster for it. As the years went on I varied my weapon of choice, depending on weather, from a pocket 380 to a compact 9mm to mid sized 9mm or a 1911 45 acp. Or to the situation to what I felt like I needed, quick in and out of a well lit store, compact 9 worked fine to not a great area the 45 acp came out.

Now as I am older with bad knees and back I mainly keep two 9's in the truck and realized if I need the 45 acp because of the area is sketchy I just don't go to that area, figure in the end that is the safest choice. If I am traveling more than just around town I will add a 10.5" AR15 with 75 gr HP's to the floor board behind the front seat and will be the first thing I grab.
