OK. Here's how to get your traditional menu bar...

In the top left corner of Firefox 12 you'll see the orange Firefox tab with a white arrow pointing down. That arrow invites you to click on it to bring up a popdown menu. :-)

Click on it and you'll see a couple of columns of options. In the right hand column is the "Options" option. Click on it and then on the menu that opens up click on "Menu bar". Voilá! You've now got your traditional "File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help" menu bar.

Yeah, it's a pain, but poking around inside can help you find useful things, depending on what you do. I like to look around the "Add ons" section for useful stuff. Anyway, hope this helps.
