.38 Special Day

I put a couple hundred through the pistol this morning, shooting clay pigeons and some target work. Just a fun time on a nice day!

Yours went better than mine! I had sent a few cylinders to Fermin, wanted to test them, especially the 38-40 cylinder for the Buckeye Special. Well, the NM Flattop 45 shot as good as ever, with one great difference, zero leading, I mean none, nada, clean as a whistle. The 10mm shot well, but I left the durn 38-40 cylinder at home.

Can't count the number of times I showed up with

a Single Six

a box of .22LR

and only the .22 mag cylinder. They shoot like crap, and the cases bulge up like it has an ankle edema, but the cases almost never split.

EDIT

That was supposed to go with "GOOD BAD DAY" above.

BUT ... You didn't give up!!

Hopefully tomorrow I will get to correct my error. I managed to get a handful of 195gr Cup point bullets cast up to try in the 10mm and 38-40 cylinders.
