That has got to hurt. Never had bleeding with all the forced marching we did in the Army.

for hot spots, apply moleskin, bandaids, what have you at first sign of such, since a crippled soldier was a useless soldier, and that failure to do so would result in an Article 15 at minimum, plus destruction of govt property, we had very few put out of commission by blisters, either, and the majority of those bleeders were the duds trying to get out.

and they stayed with me for basic, AIT, OCS and active duty. I did acquire other boots in OCS but my initial issue boots were the best. I recall the warnings but never saw anyone with much of a problem.

I still have the pair I was issued in 1966 before I went to ROTC summer camp. They are still in pretty fair shape and still fit, although I don't wear them much anymore. That pair were my "inspection" boots and didn't get beat up very much while I was on active - I wore a couple other pairs plumb out.
