Are the new S&W 686"s sleeved, or are they the same
old solid barrels we used to know, trying to steer a friend toward that direction and I an curious.
No they are not sleeved.

This one is on a 66-7 which has the MIM parts and lock. This gun has killed a groundhog (which surprised me pretty much). I was going to get rid of it but still have it.

and more than 50 yards away! Sometimes all 6 rounds are necessary. I don't know which one, but I think only one hit him.
