Anyone load 311316 cast in 32 H&R magnum?

I cast 115 grain gas check 32's with a Lyman 311316 mold. I found a good load for my 32 H&R mag with AA5 but would like to change to unique,296,2400 etc. Trying to simplify all the powders I use. anyone use this bullet in your 32 H&R mag?

I may load the same bullet in 32-20 if I ever find a 32-20 to buy. I would like to have a revolver and levergun eventually.

...I like to use Acc. Arms #7 with cast bullets. Normally I shoot the plain-based RCBS 98 SWC, but the GC'ed 311316 (in either HP or solid form) also does well with this powder in the .32 H&R. For .32-20, my gun has shown a distinct preference for HS-6 with cast bullets. For the 313316, I like 6.0 grains of HS-6 for about 1000 fps.

I'm using the same RCBS as Glen. It works great in my Marlin 32, Ruger vaquero's and TC. However, I'm using they Lyman 117 gr in my Martini 32H&R.

My main .32 mag load is a RCBS98gr SWC, but I cast both a solid and HP 311316.

4.0gr Unique goes around 1000-1100 FPS depending on barrel length. 10.5gr H110 will go 1200+. I have tried 2400 with some bullets but can't remember if I ever used it with the 316, I never got as good of accuracy as I do with the other powders.

The main two powders I use in the .32 Mag are Unique and WC820. My lot of 820 is a little Slower than AA#9 and a bit faster than H110/296.

Thanks Jared

I was thinking 4.0-4.5 of Unique. Did I sell you a HP mold a few years ago for the .32?

I'm shooting a 118 grain gas check bullet of unknown mould origin (it was purchased from a now defunct caster called "Bullets by Bridges") in my .32 H&R. I use 2400 and have been quite happy with the results. Both my small frame Ruger Bisley and my SP101 shoot little tiny groups using the bullet. My Browning Lo-Wall likes it as well.

Thanks Jared

No I had Eric Olen convert a single cavity 311316, and I picked up a 31133 HP a while back off eBay.

I keep thinking about picking a second RCBS 98 gr SWC and having him hollow point it. That bullet goes 1100-1200 depending on barrel length ahead of 4.5 gr Unique. All of my .32 s really like that bullet and load.
