Has anyone ever blackened a stainless gun? If so who did it? What is the process etc? I remember seeing a S&W that was blackened. Thanks.

Any of the polymer finishes will work well....GunKote...Black T...etc...

Black Chrome will give a shiny black finish....see Reeders guns....

I have an 870 done in that!!!

There's someone here who has a Krylon'd Super Redhawk.

I won't mention any names... ;-)

I know a fellow who has a chrome-plated Luger.

Now who would do a thing like that? :^)

I can't seem to find a pic of the poor abused shortened 480.

This winter it gets bead blasted and I'll be aplying Gun Kote bake-on finish in matte black.
The Krylon is just on it to protect the steel sights from rusting, and get an idea what it will look like Gun Koted.

Ah! The gun with the sharp shoulders.

Next time I'll have to adjust my grip, a 'bit'.

Hope to see you soon, Mark.

Hopefully Clarksville 2013
