I see I'm not the only one using 3M Stair-tread Tape on the front strap of stainless/nickel guns, LOL.

I didn't degrease it completely do its starting to peel off a bit but it's lasted pretty good. I checked around when I started building this one and surprisingly the. Heapest place I found to checker the front strap was Colt's custom shop!

I've had it peel a little; figured I hadn't degreased mine properly either.

If you take a disposable razor and knock the tops off that stuff, before you apply it, it makes for a literally perfect gripping surface.

I was wondering who you ordered from: kydex, rivets, Chicago screws?

Also, do you prefer the .06 or the .08 kydex for holsters?

I like the thicker kydex myself. Look at guntex as well. I use it for a few laminates have played with guntex for knife sheaths etc.

Robs got it. Knifekits.com is where I've ot just about everything do far. Made the press myself and the leather for the belt loops is from A local Tandy.

Holster is sold.
