My brother was looking at some of these for a Mini 14.
Any good?
Better deals out there?
Thanks,

Tapco = Junk
Ruger factory mags are the only ones I ever had any luck with for the Mini-14.
I chuckle every time I read this...

Mini-14's are famous for working only with factory magazines. I knew this but when I was waiting nine months for my paperwork to go through on my AC-556 (full auto Mini-14) I bought every used magazine I could find locally. Not a single one of them was factory. Most had no markings at all on them. Other than one with an unnoticed dent, they all fed perfectly! Even the three 40 rounders I Picked up! I do have a few factory 30's and they are definitely more solid feeling and are in fact what I keep loaded up in the 'just in case' pile.

I have a couple of Pro Mag 20 rounders that work well. Haven't/won't waste money on anything other than Ruger factory otherwise.
