Dad went home to be with Mom at 6:25 this evening. His passing was peaceful and he is no longer suffering.

in some aspects that the pain is done for the one you love. We are getting ready to put my mother in a Alzheimer's care center.

Sorry to hear of your loss Tom.
It's never easy to see them go. We must remember it will be just for a little while before we have enternity to spend with them.
