Same to 'ya, today will be a first for me...

I've been doing a lot of work for a sick friend the last few months, you know, mowing her lawn, cleaning up, stuff like that. Well, two days ago she invited me and my "pack" for a traditional thanksgiving dinner with all the fixins on her boat in the middle of the Tennessee River. I got'ta tell 'ya, this wasn't even remotely on my bucket list.

Here's the menu:
Roast Turkey
cornbread dressing
baked squash
"homemade" cranberry sauce(lest ways that's what I was told)
yeast rolls
candied yams
mashed potatoes
romano beans almondine
Three different pies: Pecan, pumpkin, and chess pie
A fine chardonnay to wash down dinner, and an impetuous little port to wash down dessert.

We're all pretty excited, it was looking like Thanksgiving was 'gonna be pretty lean around here this year.

I hope all of you have wonderful day!

Joe
