The San Gabriel River

It looks like we've had our week of winter. Temps are in the high 70's to mid 80's and forecast to stay that way into March. Of course that all can change ..... but green grass is starting to poke their heads up. I went for walk and snapped a few pictures of the river ...

Nice! This year I am really looking forward to the season change. Moreso than any time in the past that comes to mind. The 10-day shows us into mid-40's in a week or so. Good...but not good enough!

makes me want to go fishing already

I enjoy watching y.t. videos from your neck of the woods. Scores to hundreds of examples in/on the s.g. river, both wading and kayaking. Many fly fishing themed videos.

This particular area (around Georgetown)

was Comanche camping area as they moved through. Along the river banks in Georgetown are several places to fine arrowheads, stone knives etc. We have found a few on our little slice of it.
