Interesting Note
I was looking at some old boxes & found this note made by someone years ago.

Interesting Note
I never spent much time loading the .45-70 with "pistol powders". I recall early on, just after I started loading for the only one I had at the time, I dropped a book charge of Unique in a case, saw the brass from the inside bottom peeking up through the powder and decided I didn't like having that much empty space. I never went back.
I have had recent thoughts about loading up some round ball with silly, light charges for some fun. Haven't gone there yet though...
Interesting Note
That resembles my grandpa’s handwriting but his Ruger single shot was a 22 Hornet
My Load Data
Says that is a 2000 FPS load from a 22" barreled Marlin 1895.
