41 Magnum

I had not shot it in awhile and wanted some milder loads to warm up on so I loaded a couple hundred with the NEI 230 gr. cast bullet and 8.0 gr. of Unique. Seems like a nice load.

41 Magnum

That's a caliber I've long been fascinated by, but have never shot or even handled one. That and the 41 Special just "have a ring" to them somehow. Somehow I've managed to limp through life without one or the other, hanging onto the more easily acquirable 45 Colt and 44 Special. That's a good looking cartridge, by the way. Should get the job done well.

If we somehow meet when you are in this hemisphere

You will be most welcome to try this one out ....as long as you stay within eyesight and arms reach. ;-)

:-D One of these years it may just happen. I'm hoping to make it to Raton for the fortieth anniversary of the first IN PERSON holiday. I THINK I've got my chronology right, as if I recall correctly '85 was the year Taffin did the "virtual holiday" article. But I was "supposed" to be up north THIS year, and it didn´t happen. So we'll know when we know. :-)

Yes .. you are correct. '86 was the first get-together.

41 Magnum

Nice shootin'.....I was just thinking about doing my 41 Magnum/230gr Keith bullet/1,100 fps test the other day. Been waiting on the weather to cool down a little, now it went from high 90's to mid 40's in a blink of an eye, debating on holding on to it until next spring or try and get it done before Thanksgiving, have to see what the weather brings in the next few weeks.
