A special 1861 Uberti
This one arrived today a couple weeks after purchase. Came with a pretty special piece of paper.

It has some friends here to keep it company…

Great!
It's good to know someone I know managed to catch one of Taffin's sixguns. The last one I'm aware of sold last night, a second generation Colt that went for over $900. May you enjoy this one for many years to come!
Great!
When Jim T posted about them I went and searched gunbroker. There were around 80 of the first round. I had my eye on several and would have rather had a real colt repro but the 61 has been calling my name for awhile. I bid on several, not expecting to get most of them. When it came down to the last little bit I may have bumped this max bid up a hair!
I’m very happy with the revolver and even lore so since it was JT’s.
We made smoke!
Shot a few cylinders through the 61 this weekend at Cannon’s between rain showers. It’s been awhile since I’ve shot any C&B. I forgot how little recoil the .36 has, very pleasant. Now I need to get into making paper cartridges so I’ll shoot them more!
Thanks for posting the video! Thatt was great! (nm)

I was downwind at the time....I wondered what was in my cigar!
Seriously though, I regret not taking the opportunity to try that.
You made memories! I, for one,
am glad to see JT's pistol in the "family" and being enjoyed by many. Thanks for sharing that!
