The .45 Colt Trapper did well. The barrel stayed shiny clean and shot well for an old guy with eyes no longer young.

Most pleasant load of the day ... 225 gr. .45 ACP bullets from Slow Hand loaded in .45 Colt cases with 8.5 gr. Unique.

Marvelous loads

I love those loads... just middlin' for power, but will absolutely do everything you would want them to do. As a plus they're inexpensive per shot and don't foul or appreciably wear your barrel. On top of all that, they're accurate!

What's not to like?
