and the connectivity problems made editing difficult if not impossible so I deleted it while I was able.
You can start by looking-up mister jennings of raven and then follow the convoluted trail(s) of dollars and subsequent scandalous bankruptcies.
I had a smooth nickeled J-22 that never jammed as long as it was fouled and dry of oil. A later grittier chromed one did nothing but jam unless it was clean and dripping with oil. The several ravens .25s ran well and preferred to be dry. The bryco .380 actually slew a deer but mogan david square bottles were involved in that adventure so it's best forgotten.
Like I said, the Raven was the only of that family I had

I never messed with any of the other cheap ones. I had a friend who shot himself with a Raven, accidentally. He had it on a closet shelf, loaded. One day he opened the door and it fell out, hit the floor and went off. The bullet went through the middle of the calf of his right leg and stopped in the wall.
He said the doctor running the swab through the wound channel hurt worse than the bullet. So he sold the Raven and bought a .357 Magnum. At least he got a good one .. S&W.
And no, he never shot himself again.
