Hello i post this here because in years past I have seen it discussed on board and hope folks are still around in the know.
Have a long driveway with a fence on either side and turn around is difficult once a car starts down..

What kind of cell camera do i need to get the plate number after car passes by ? Prefer a no flash camera with maybe a video to stay on long enough to get the rear license plate.

Will put another closer to house to get front of car and maybe passenger photos.

Have a verizon tower close by so compatible with there system is a plus..

Does such a think exist in a game style camera.
Advice and opinion is welcome...

I have not used these yet, but intend to purchase several before fall after studying specs and reviews.

The specs suggest this would work for the situation you describe; however, as mentioned, I have no first hand experience. I'm certain there are other cameras in the same category and perhaps someone here can recommend one from personal experience.

I have two different cheap solar powered, wifi cameras. While the resolution is great, they are not 100% reliable. For a fee videos can be stored by the camera company. Local storage is by a card in the camera. If the camera is taken the memory goes with it. All four sides of my property can be seen by my neighbors, so I do not have them for security.
For a real security setup. I would prefer hardwired cameras with video storage 24/7 in my house. You could include some solar powered wifi cameras in case of power outages.
