I managed to get out to the gun club for a while, ran a few rounds through the PPPPPP, followed up by giving the new care takers younger son a few pointers on shooting air rifles. He shows promise, I'm trying to think of ways of getting him involved in our local Field Target scene.

Had to take off my spectacles to see the sights. <sigh> And there's always that one that manages to fly way out from the rest. It was good to get out of town and throw a bit of lead around. 249 years... a lot to think (and pray) about when considering our history as a nation.
