Cast bullets in a microgroove Marlin .30-30.
Lyman M-die is your friend. The .311 diameter will probably work well in the sub-1800 fps arena but it's a bit of a roll of the dice. What I have read, but not pursued, is that Micro-Groove rifling likes a bore sized (not groove) nose for best accuracy. Regardless, the .30WCF is very polite at cast bullet velocities. Enjoy!
