A few things for sale (posted at the Associates)
I’m smack dab in the middle of moving from Washington to Bandon, Oregon and it’s beyond obvious that I’m trying to fit ten pounds of chicken manure into a two pound sack.
Between the house and two shops, we are downsizing to a space that is roughly 3000 square feet smaller! Our total shop space is now 400 square feet, as opposed to 2752 at the old place, and the house is about 700 square feet smaller.
I’m being VERY creative about storage, as you might imagine, but even so I have run out of space. We are selling furniture here, and intend to have a couple of major yard sales in the next month or so. It’s all for the best really, a lot of the stuff we are getting rid of hasn’t been used in years, or was doubles/triples/quadruples of things that were used very little.
There will be a major book sale in a few months, having almost 3000 books has become little more than a bragging rights novelty, almost all my reading is done with a Kindle these days and it currently holds over 4500 titles. I’ve ceased to worry about keeping hard copies in case the balloon goes up, at my age that might just be a welcome diversion…..
So, much ado, and without any further, here’s some stuff….
S&W Model 33-1, factory mismarked as a Model 36. AKA Regulation Police. It is a blue J-frame with square butt and 4” barrel. Has the correct cylinder and barrel for .38 S&W, NOT .38 Special. In about 90 to 95% condition. I will include a plastic copy of a Tyler-T-Grip, plus an ugly holster. Asking $425 shipped. Will need an FFL of course. No box. See photos.
These next few will require me to take a few photos, which will come later.
CVA SCOUT V2 .444 Marlin. New in box, unfired. $400 shipped. My cardiologist says no more big bore stuff, and I suppose this qualifies. I have quite a bit of new Starline brass, but that will have to wait until I’ve unpacked at the new house. The brass will be less than what Starline gets….
A Greener GP 12ga. $450 shipped. This is basically a take-down shotgun with a Martini action. It is a true GP, not a converted police shotgun. Barrel is 28”, maybe longer? Fixed full choke. Condition is a strong 80%, with some unfortunate pitting in the bore however. Doesn’t seem to affect patterns though when using modern loads with shot cups. Hard to come by.
CZ 452 Trainer .22LR. $400 shipped. Used, but in 95% plus condition. Comes with one magazine (plastic) and an adapter rail to take Picatinny rings. The rail simply bolts on. It is right-handed, not a sinister rifle like so many of mine are.
Factory Encore Katahdin stainless barrel in .500 S&W Magnum, with a Skinner rear sight. $400 shipped. Hard to come by.
New in box, Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32, with Dead Hold BDC reticle. Still in factory cellophane wrap. Amazon gets $129. How does $90 shipped sound?
There will undoubtedly be more…..

If'n I could get back some of the money I mailed to the Feds
a week ago, I'd be sorely tempted....
