It Was A .41 Day
A few years back someone (I disremember who) sent me some .41 cast bullets. They were gascheck hollowpoint cast bullets. I had them in a box for a long time and then re-discovered them. I loaded them over 15.0 gr. of 2400 and finally got them to the range today.
This is the bullet

Shooting 20 yards the proved to be an accurate bullet. The flyer is due to the loose nut who was holding the grip.

The bore stayed nice and clean.

Nice looking bullet, I have never tried a HP lead bullet, good shooting on your part. I was hoping to do some shootin this weekend but as we get closer the projected temp keeps getting lower.
Last weekend I did manage to load all the ammo for the 41 Keith @ 1,000 fps test and got the 2x Burris mounted back on the Freedom Arms.

41 Mags rule, Baers rock!
It was a first for me also ... and probably the last ...
I shot up all I had been given. I haven't hunted in a long time and I am happy with the performance of the NEI 230 gr. cast bullet and the 210 gr. XTP. I will take those if I do any hunting.
