New Revolver Shooter
In the pics below is Ana, step-daughter of a good family friend, and native of Colombia. Ana is a nurse and is headed to Miami, Florida to pursue some education to further her career.
Ana's stepfather has been working with her to familiarize her with potential carry guns. She is good and familiar with semi-autos but had never had the opportunity to try shooting a revolver.
Until now, that is. Karl and Ana came to visit and I set up a 7-yard range behind the barn, introducing a variety of five- and six-shooters from my Smith Airweight all the way up to my treasured model 1955 Target.
Here she is shooting the big Smith:
Here is the target she shot, with a total of six rounds. The big hole at center is the result of four rounds, all holes touching.
As you might expect, the 1955 Target was Ana's favorite. She rather liked it a little too much for my comfort, so after the range session I sent Karl several links to Gunbroker listings for these babies. This is Ana with a smile for the N-frame.
Please note the Che target. Yes, he caught his share.
