Auminum receiver - not sure how well that will hold up ...

...they got the rifling twist right ... not like the Rossi slow twist barrels ...
My only concern would be the aluminum receiver ... especially if one were given to shooting heavy bullets at top pressures ...

we talked about these before, I think? I just scanned back through 4 or 5 pages and didn't see the discussion but I do recall 'aluminum receivers' recently.
And here I thought I was paying attention!

We discussed these a couple of months ago when I brought this up on Facebook. There is a steel receiver version that is not currently imported.

Who would do such a thing!
You don't know anyone like that do you?
Nobody on this forum...

would shoot more than powderpuff loads, 130gr whitebox ammo at the hottest.
.38 Special plinker

I bet if you restricted that rifle to .38 Special cast-bullet loads and stayed away from the hot loadings, that rifle would outlast either you or me and would be a ton of fun.
Of course that makes the rifle much less than it could be with a steel receiver.
