Good guy, I got lucky on JimT's hog hunt in 2004 as Mark guided me on my boar hunt, great fun talking hunting and animal behavior while we walked.

We had picked up John T at the airport and me, you, him, Penn Baggett (I think?), and several others I can't recall, Gunner? AK?, had a massive hog hunt down at his place.

I remember Jack getting his fingers caught in a pickup truck door as it was shut and the guys in the cab thinking his banging on the top of the cab was merely him being enthusiastic about the hunt.

It was the 1st time I ever met Rev'd Taylor or Mr Taffin.
It was the only time I ever met Mr Hampton or Mr Pender.
Mark Hampton was a good man. I'll miss him.

he was one of those rare gun writers ( I know a bunch of them now!) that actually bought gunleather full price not telling me who he was or what it was for. a few months later he'd give me a head's up about a mention in a gunzine. pure class.
