Yesterday one of the guys on Leverguns posted that Mike's wife messaged him that Mike is gone. He will be missed.

I always liked Mike's writing, honest and down to earth style, seemed like a good guy.

He wrote some good articles about very interesting guns. He wrote an article years ago about “oddball loadings” for .45 Colt that I saved for years. Mights still have it around somewhere. It was right when I first started reloading and that article pushed me to try some different things, shot loads, multi roundball loads etc. funny how something like that sticks in your mind for years.
