Pocket Pistols (Modern Type)
I like the old Colt Pocket Pistols and have copies of a couple ... the 1862 Pocket Police .36 and the 1849 Pocket .31 ... but these are little more modern than those.

Amazing how small that Colt Detective Special is .. and it is a 6 shot.

You can see it's really not much larger than the S&W. The Rossi .357 in the photo would require a rather large pocket as it's a S&W K-frame. Think Model 19.

When I was younger I had 2 of these that I carried... Astra Cub .22 Short. Little bitty thing would fit in your shirt pocket.

And I carried an Excam .38 Special derringer for many years. Long before you could get a license to carry. It fit well in my pocket or my boot.
About 1985 I borrowed a friends Beretta .25 and carried that in a belly band holster when we went to Disneyland in LA ... I wasn't going anyplace with my family without some kind of protection and the .25 was a lot better than nothing.
