FYI: Linebaugh Custom Ruger Bisley .475 on GB (*CHEAP*)

Well, I think so, anyway. The starting price is $1,898.50. I don't think I've ever seen one priced so low.

The only thing 'wrong' with this one appears to be the grips (which some may actually prefer).

Maybe the bottom has fallen out of that market, too? I know it has in several others (e.g., Randall knives),
but I thought Linebaugh guns were a lot more valuable than sub-$2k.

Anyhow, FYI. :-)

That does seem like a low price to me. I'm told that the current base conversion price for a John Linebaugh gun is $2600.00. Was this gun made before Linebaugh standardized his guns, or did the one who ordered the work just get the least expensive conversion he could? Also, about what year was this gun, number 78, made? That seems to be an early number.

Looks like maybe a bare bones model, no barrel band.
