Down from the mountains...
Just got back from two week camp and than one week of my wife's family reunion. We had about 30 show up throughout the week in the Smokies.
Here's our camp kitchen for the reunion.
Couple of my nephews tending bar.
Three generations checking out the fireflies.
The chili supper.
That's my daughter Elizabeth on the right. She's with her two friends from New York. Right before this photo was taken the fella proposed to the lass in the middle. She accepted, they're getting married in September! The mountains will do that to 'ya.
My brother-in-law from New Orleans on the trail with his Bernese.
The rhododendron were in full bloom.
Cool nights and warm days, now it's stinking hot.
I always enjoy seeing the photos you'ens post of where you'ens live. It just reinforces to me what a diverse, wonderful and beautiful place we are all fortunate enough to live in. Thought you might like to see a part of my "world".
Now, it's back to work!

Down from the mountains...
Great photos, Joe. Loved that place all my life, I have. Have to get a "fix" myself at least once a year.
Where exactly was that?
OH, almost forgot....
This was the selection for this trip:
Eight "up the pipe", one in the chamber, and ten "hanging off the side"
The cartridges are 220gr with GC cast by our very own AaronB(the mold number eludes me),Under 19 grains 2400. Knife? Randall #5 with a few personal touches.

Down from the mountains...
Elkmont, across "the river". Going back up for two more weeks on the 15th. The "trail" shot is up Cucumber Gap.

So, that was Elizbeth's gear, what did you bring?
Nice Marlin and blade! Thanks for the photos. Sounds and looks like a good time.

Of the Troops & For the Troops
Although I do spoil her so...
She don't get those. Here's her "kit":
Model 37, Federal 125gr. Nyclads, the leather you know.
What did I bring? The two most important things: the booze and the food!
Joe
Great pics,
Love the BIL and old log bridge. Thanks, Dennis Eugene
Thanks Dennis...
You're too kind, I'm really not much of a photographer. Although I don't often acknowledge it, I really enjoy viewing the photos you share with us of your home place. At this point in my life, I doubt I will ever get to such a place, but it's fun to imagine what my life would be like in such places!

Very nice pics, looks like loads of fun.

Thanks for sharing. It's great to be able to
see different parts of the globe, especially those that are not as familiar as one's own backyard. Looks like a great time was had by all. :)
Family time is great, thanks for sharing the pic's
