JohnKDM re NFA prices
According to the "Forgotten Weapons" site, there is exactly 1 transferable M249 Saw/MiniMi
in the US. Don't know the details as to how that 1 happened, but it apparently did.
Morphy's recently sold it, and with auction fees on top of the bid price, the proud new anonymous owner paid a bit over half a million for the thing.
JohnKDM re NFA prices
Crazy indeed!
I didn’t watch the whole video, but I have to agree with Ian as far as the
Confusion on who bought it. Yea it’s neat that it’s ‘one of a kind’ but i would be amazied to see value actually go up a crazy amount/percentage on that one. And like he said; if you want a SAW, there are much cheaper ways to get one. Some of them are even legal!
Not surprised. That's what I was talking about in a
previous post; lots of secret (and wealthy) purchasers of transferable MGs.
The NFA act will protect their investments.
