Got to shoot the 1851 tonight
It functioned great and shot pretty well for me. I haven’t shot a C&B revolver in years so it was fun getting back into it. Only put 35 rounds through it and I’m def looking forward to getting back out with it!
About 60 years after it was built, it was finally fired.
Amazing.
Welcome to the Dark Side!

Yes sir. Kinda felt bad about taking its virginity but after that first cylinder, I was all smiles! I’m just sad it’s been around this long and hasn’t been enjoyed like it should have been!

He he he! Been here for a long time, just haven’t shot much lately. I have a couple of trapdoors and we had some fun in Missouri last October shooting the 50-70 out to 300 yards. Hits on steel we’re surprisingly common even with it not being in the best shape!
