m 27 coverted to m.44 spl

Hi, Rob. I’m putting a couple of guns up for sale on the Smith and Wesson Forum but thought I’d first send info and pics of this gun to you to see if you knew anyone who’d be interested. I know you’ve posted a few pics of a .44 Special conversion and you know the right crowd for the gun. It’s a Model 27 (serial # S 78033) with an unnumbered Model of 1950 6 1/2” barrel. The cylinder is the original barrel rebored. I don’t know who the grips are by but they’re awfully pretty. I’ll sell it for $1,700 including shipping. If you know of anyone, send them my way, otherwise I’m listing it tomorrow. Hope all is well! I’d also sell the gun without the grips for $1,500.

I don’t know who did the conversion. I bought it from Ron Peterson in Albuquerque 5 or 6 years ago.Shane
