It's Mostly Dry-Firing This Week
Freezing rain and ice have put the halt to Range time. I dry-fire every couple days during the week so it's not unfamiliar to me. I like to practice two-hand .. one hand ... weak hand to keep the muscle memory going and not get too rough on the trigger.
My aiming points that I practice on appear smaller than a Ruger Blackhawk front sight, so I can tell if I am off to one side easily. I try to hold the dot in the middle of the width of the front sight and not wiggle off it during letoff. I try. Sometimes I am successful. It does help.
