DA 44 magnum
I find that I shoot my 4" Redhawk, NOT my 4" 629-1 when shooting .44 Mag. I think that it is because I want to reduce wear on the 629, because I don't care how much wear I put on the Redhawk, because I feel that the Redhawk can stand up to anything, and... because that big Redhawk is more comfortable to SHOOT full effort .44 Mag than the 629 is. In fact, for me, the Redhawk is the MOST comfortable .44 Mag to shoot as it comes from the factory. I LIKE those factory Hogue grips/stocks. I have wood Hogues on the 629 and these are hands down the most comfortable I've ever had on the gun and have a box of grips I've tried on that gun.
