I had a BM (please hold your snickers).
Good little guns. I've got three of them in various stages of condition from almost new to carried and used for 20+ years by some Spanish cop. All three are stone reliable after replacing the recoil springs with the standard Wolff springs. Would not hesitate to use one for EDC (and have done so).
Only caution is that some have inertial firing pins and some do not. Can't safely carry one with the hammer down on a chambered round. OTOH, it has one of the best manual safeties to be found. Locks the hammer as well as the sear. Condition one carry is no problem.
