Thank you, I'll try to reach him. Have a line on a rifle but wanted to nail down feeding it first.

That’s totally opposite of how I usually do it! Something shiny comes along then I’m like, “well, how am I going to shoot this goofy thing?”
I blame Hoot…
What???
I was going to ask...

LMAO... I'm getting too old to jump
out of haylofts without a soft spot to land ;)
If the rifle deal works out I'll report back.

Hi Sarge, I am helping a friends wife get rid of his stuff after he passed . including 50/70 brass, dies and trim die, the price that they put on the 50/70 stuff I thought was to high, I am going to talk to them again to see if would lower the price, if it was up to me it would go cheap, so stay tuned and I`ll get back to you. Frank McClelland from Mi.
Thank you Frank I appreciate the reply...
In all truthfulness it's not a great time to take on any new caliber and the 50 Gov't is a pretty expensive dinner date ;) Don't put yourself out over this.

My dumb self bought an 1866 Allin conversion trapdoor with zero knowledge of them. It ended up being a Bannerman style cut down rifle, still a 2 band, not a pseudo carbine style. Anyways bore is decent and lockup seems ‘good enough for black powder’ so I ended up with die’s and some brass from a Facebook page and got lee’s 450 gr mold. I’ve got some bullets cast up and loaded a few rounds. My son and I went to the range last weekend to get a little shotgun practice before a bird hunting trip next weekend. I brought the trapdoor, but in my haste to get going, I forgot the ammo at home!
He he he…
You know!
