Wondering what loads everyone uses? I predominantly use 38spl cases due to the OAL in 357 cases and my NM Flattop cylinders seem a scosh shorter than my GP100's. Thanks.

In the Ruger Old Model Flat Top .357 and in the Model 92 Rossi I like 14.5 gr. 2400 with a Small Rifle primer.

I will look and see if I still have some 2400 left. Local shop hasn't had any in 2 years.

I believe Jim's load is in 357 brass and not 38 brass? about 30 years ago I tried 13.5 grains of 2400 and a 158 SWC in 38 cases and had a few case separations in a security six. For a general field load I like 5 grains of Unique with the 173 Keith

I'll be trying the Unique load as well, I have a bit of 2400 left, and some Unique. Going to try this new fangled Longshot that works so well in my 45 Colt too.

Dave

Thanks!

I use 12.5 of 2400 in the shorter case in the magnum gun.

Thank You
