Freedom Arms 83 .454/.45 ACP
Gentlemen,
I've owned a number of Freedom Arms revolvers over the years, but I must admit that the full house .454 is more than I can shoot well. (I'll admit to some jelousy over the fact that my friend Lynn Thompson can shoot one so well).
For those of you who have one of these beautiful revolvers and an extra .45 ACP cylinder, how close does the .45 ACP shoot to the sights when they are set for a .454 load?
Just curious. Thanks in advance.

DEPENDS ON THE LOADS BEING USED. I HAVE EXTRA FRONT SIGHTS TO COVER THE MANY POSSIBILITES WITH FOUR CYLINDERS IN .454, .45 COLT,.45 ACP,AND .45 WINMAG.
Thank you Sir.
Just more to think about. But that interchangable front sight does open up some possibilities.
I have a Smith with the DX style sight that I use like that. Two front sights for two very different loads.
