But there is a fellow here in town I can check with.
Be aware that any .44 Magnum S&W barrel will need the top rib machined lower to match up with your 58 frame, but you probably already know that….

In 72-73 I shot a Model 58 that had been rechambered/rebored to 45 Colt. All it needed was a taller front sight to be perfect.
Since you did not actualy do the conversion yourself and it
was converted to .45 Colt you should be safe from one of the nine rings.
