have told me of their desire to learn to hunt big game... I had giving my daughter my Remington 788 in .243. I used it on my first deer. Great little rifle. So, I've taken them out a few times. They both enjoy shooting. The 788 makes it easy. It's got a 80's vintage Leupold 3x9. I managed o find a couple spare mags for it. It's fun to pass this on down the line.

Was showing my son-in-law some of my collection Thanksgiving night and he mentioned two things to me.....when we going shooting again and that he would like to get into hunting, why yes I can help him that : )

Sounds like a winning set-up to me. Nice going.
