(I've not yet had my coffee) revealed a Stevens Favorite with a tubular magazine. :-D Very interesting rifle, never seen one in person.

hint : not a stevens and it is a model 1886 [ nm ]

pretty rare gun. i have bid on them for years, and finally got this one a few years back. very smooth action...some say the smoothest of all lever actions.

Is that the version with rack and pinion for the lever?

for the kids , my oldest son and my daughter really are interested and like the guns and already have a lot of them that i have provided and taught them about

people, I am NOT "most people", but I LOVE the history behind the things. The 5 "W"s and how of the things fascinates me.
