Target guns.....

Had the privilege to visit with an old schoolmate of my from back in the day during a weekend pheasant hunt in western Kansas.

He is a poor Kansas wheat farmer....works about 10 sections....paid for for probably 50 years...has his own elevator...can store 5 years production...price up he sells...price down he holds....

After a nice dinner and a bit of Royal Crown we got to peek into one of the safes...

A Webley Greene adjustable sight .455 target gun...not quite like new but almost...

A Smith New Model Number 3 adjustable sight .38/44...lots more of this stuff...

Just a whiff...then the double rifle safe opened....and then the single shoot rook rifle safes...

You hear about this stuff but it is wild to actually walk up on it...

Not that the Webley and NM#3 are chopped liver, but I need pictures to verify the story.

Even on my iPhones little screen I can see some really cool stuff there! Hope you visit him again and get a chance to do some shooting before the crown comes out again!
