Coming along with my eye surgery but very slow process with partial cornea transplants - 3 months for full recovery and then they do the other eye! I am out of commission on shooting until August.
Question: I was thinking of ordering some 45 Colt shotshells. Would you go with the #4 or #9 shot? I have a Bond Arms derringer I was going to try them in. The 410 shells aren’t that much fun.

Glad you're on the mend.
I'm thinking 9's. Not many 4's will fit. 9's should keep small rodents or other modest vermin at bay. My son had good success with a Taurus Judge with 2.5" .410 loaded with 9 shot, even at 15 to 20'.
Good luck!

Good to hear you're recovering well. At 66 years young, those front sights on handguns are starting to get mighty fuzzy to me.

I don't think the shot shells are worth the money Very disappointed in all I have used including the ones I reloaded.
Good to know

I know you have never experimented with loads. But Consider this a .444 case will slip right in that bond arms. Card or aluminum/copper gas check over powder and shot. #9's will have a denser pattern a little farther out than #4's.
