In 1980 I purchased my place at Dry Creek. Looked like this then.

How far is that from your place on Copperhead? Same general area?

Only 40 miles from one to the other but an hour 10 minute drive on a good day.

I'm a surveyor. We had a cartoon on the wall showing the field crew's truck nose down a steep slope against a tree. Caption says "The world's a flat piece of paper to you guys in the office!"

....that's why their drafting tables can be tilted way up.
