I just bought some plated 44 240jhp and I am looking for a good load. My friend wants to shoot them in his Super Redhawk with a 10" bbl and I know for that bbl we can't push the speeds. Anyone have any info to share? just start with 7.5 gr Unique ?

I think it was when we first heard of rainier bullets, the Rev. Taylor wrote of using alox, wax, or chain grease and getting an average of 150 fps. more than unlubed and none of the pernicious copper fouling that others were complaining about but I don't remember load specifics.
