S&W 5906’

Do any of you have experience with the S&W Model 5906 in 9mm? LGS has one in about 95% condition for $375. Seems like it could be a good home defense/carry pistol. Thoughts/experiences?

I was an armorer at a PD that carried those for 16 years. There were few issues other than a lot of wear toward the end. I hear that parts are in short supply should you need any. I got a Kramer IWB holster and carried it off duty as well. I bought mine when we traded them for M&Ps

Thanks. That's exactly what I was hoping to discover. The one I'm looking at hasn't been shot much and I'd probably put no more than 500 rounds a year for it. I'd have to find a spare magazine, but I assume that's doable.
