global warming
Please send me some! A big dose if you could. Worked my way through almost 3 feet of accumulated snow and every damaged piece of my body is screaming this morning and I have another 8 feet or so to shovel PLUS the berm the city plow left when it broke down at the end of my driveway.
Was going to chain up the 4wd truck and just push through yesterday; I had chains for all 4 wheels, WRONG! plus the tires on this Sonoma are larger than my last Sonoma so the chains are short. Hopefully adding a cold shut last night with a ball peen and a hunk of railroad iron will solve that.

...mountain, not on top. It will melt. I heard it on FB!

This one came straight south from the Fraser River, so the mountains stopped it and held it in place instead of providing a rain shadow. I've around 30 inches on the ground and more fell overnight; sick of shoveling snow! City snow plow got stuck at the end of my driveway night before last!

...few months on the Frasier, due west of 100 Mile House. I recall hearing stories of heavy snowfall, but was gone before the actual experience. Didn't think about those storms heading south to your banana belt. Hope you are amply stocked with bacon and biscuits.

Yup, got all the necessaries but have to leave the house to do volunteer work; been running chains on the front of the Sonoma and staying in 4wd high. Roads are so-so but parking lots are tank traps! Almost couldn't get out of Rite Aid this morning.
Measured 27 inches of snow on the deck this morning when I went out to finish the shoveling and noted my gutters are frozen tight with rain in the forecast. I cringe when I consider the snow load on the roof.

Went to WallyWorld
BIG mistake, had to use 4wd LOW to navigate their parking lot!
