Chiefs Special - oldie but goodie

I couldn't let this oldie but goodie get away yesterday - early 1953, actually carried and well-cared for by the previous owner's father. It doesn't appear to have been fired much at all, and will still be carried, loaded with factory 148 wadcutters. - you can't have too many j-frames.

Good to see that you now have a real gun. :-P

Very early, transitional frame...

.....that has the round trigger guard of the earlier I-frame. That didn't last too long before the oval guard was introduced.

What a sweetheart!

Quiet the find Norm!

I would have enjoyed finding that jewel a few years back while on the hunt for a J frame. It's a birth year gun for me.

I have one that gets carried most of the time.
